Schools & Groups

Aden Country Park offers a wide range of activities and educational learning opportunities for schools or groups. Whether you want to book an area of Aden for a school or group event, arrange a visit to our Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, or perhaps book a natural and cultural heritage discovery session with the Countryside Ranger Service, whatever your interest, we’re here to help.

Schools and Groups

Book a Visit

If you want to book an area of the park, book a visit to the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, or book a Ranger Service school or group session, please visit our Book a Visit section.

Risk Assessment

Although it is the responsibility of teachers and group leaders to complete a risk assessment prior to any site visit with a group, the Risk Assessment section of the website offers a downloadable Aberdeenshire Farming Museum Hazard Sheet. The Hazard Sheet is intended as a preparatory tool and does not replace a teacher’s or group leader’s own risk assessment. Please visit our Risk Assessment section to download a copy of the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum Hazard Sheet.

Education Pack

We’re currently working on the Aden Country Park education pack. The pack is being designed to be a self-led activity pack to allow schools, groups, families, and visitors to Aden to explore Aden Country Park whilst learning about the park’s history, heritage and wildlife through a self-guided resource. Once completed, the education pack will be downloadable and includes activities which can be completed in the park or in school. For more information please visit our education pack section of the website.
