The Aberdeenshire Farming Museum and Hareshowe Farm is open from April until October. The museum is open Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm. (last entry at 3.30pm). The Aberdeenshire Recording Centre (ARC) is only open by appointment. If you would like to arrange a meeting or want to discuss recording in the studio please contact or email.

The Book of Deer visitor centre is situated within the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum and therefore ties in with the Museum opening hours of April until October, open Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm. The opening/closing times for the Coach House (Visitor Information Centre) toilet and also the main car park toilets (including the changing places toilet facilities) are as follows. The opening and closing of the other available toilets ties in with the opening and closing times of the buildings listed above.
