Café & Ice Cream Kiosk
Located in the courtyard area, next to the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, a warm welcome awaits you at the recently refurbished Café at Aden. With the unique backdrop of Aden Country Park, the Café offers the perfect place to stop and relax over a delicious coffee and home bake.
The Café at Aden has seating up and downstairs (60 covers), but when the weather is good, nothing compares to soaking up the sun and ambience in the courtyard area in front of the semi-circular farmstead building and coach house.
Now operated by local business partnership, Joanna and Noel Gall, of "The Lodge", Strichen, the café has a menu to suit all tastes. Following modernisation the café now has a country-chic feel, offering a delicious selection of light lunches, home baking and hot and cold drinks.
Wherever possible, the café also supports local producers, using suppliers such as Peter’s Ices, The Store at Foveran, Devenick Dairy, Bert Fowlie Butcher and Farmlay Eggs. Proprietor Joanna is committed, not only to lowering food miles, but also in showcasing the best food this area has to offer.
The café also tries to be as ‘green’ or sustainable as possible, with the use of disposable plates, cups and napkins, which can all be recycled. This will cut down water consumption, whilst the biodegradability of our products will mean the café will create a smaller ecological footprint.
The Café at Aden is open 6 days a week Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays) from 10am to 5pm and also offers a takeaway service.
Bus parties are very welcome, and if you’re looking for the perfect family friendly venue for a private parties, anniversaries, birthday parties (Children’s & Adults) look no further than The Café at Aden.
